Having said that, January has not been particularly kind to me thus far - I've been really ... tired and in searing pain. Grandma was very sick again on Wednesday night and they thought she was on her way out, so we went to see her. I think she's okay again now. Grandad is not. I love them both so much.
Dad's taken to reminding me every day that he only has fourteen years to live. I'm worried that he's actually resolved to kill himself or something when he turns seventy.
