Hey, we're halfway through 2008.
68. I am grateful to have finished my exams.
69. I am grateful to be on holiday.
70. I am grateful for pastry. Right now I'm sort of slowly working my way through Tarts With Tops On by Tamasin Day-Lewis.
71. I am grateful to go to such a unique university. We were internet conferencing during a lecture a few weeks ago and the computer was being difficult. One of my classmates pulled out something that looked like a scrying crystal and waved it over the computer while we waited for the repair person to show up, and nobody batted an eyelid. That could not have happened in high school, you know?
72. I am grateful for like-minded individuals and fellow geeks. In partial connection to the above, but also in general. To find people who have esoteric interests in common with you, or who're strange like you're strange, is a wonderful thing.
73. I am grateful for my employee discount. And how.
74. I am grateful for my mother. ♥
75. I am grateful for perfume. I'm such a girl. Also, I think the hardcore enthusiasts are amazing in their olfaction and vocabulary.
76. I am grateful for my good memories. I forget about them sometimes, but there are a lot.
77. I am grateful for my other names. I have one customer who calls me Virginia, one customer who calls me Gretchen, and a teacher who calls me Matilda.
78. I am grateful to be able to knit. And to have my grandmother, who taught me, living next door. She has bailed me out of so many knitting and crochet disasters.
